About Me

I am Riffat Jabeen, a qualified integrative counsellor offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for emotional support and reflection. My work is informed by a strong understanding of British Pakistani, South Asian, and Muslim cultural and family contexts. I support clients with a wide range of emotional and personal challenges, working ethically in line with BACP principles. Therapy is shaped around your needs, pace, and goals, with care, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

My Professional Journey

I am an integrative counsellor working within higher education, supporting students and staff, alongside managing my private practice, Positive Mind Matters. My experience includes supporting individuals affected by trauma, domestic violence, and sexual abuse within private agencies and IAPT services. I am currently completing an MSc in Clinical Psychology and working towards accreditation and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I am a full member of BACP and BPS.
